IRSKIY. Jakarta based artist, whose full name is Kris Sutardjo, shows his intricate skill in using collage method in his works. He doesn’t hesitate to select, cut, paste and stack various different materials and objects to create his art. He is deeply inspired by the architectural style and colours of the 80s. Hence, those vibrant colours and geometric patterns are often seen in his works. Collage, as a visual language is freely interpreted by Irskiy. This can be seen from the use of spray techniques and other materials, especially fabrics, that makes his works look more assertive and prominent to get a three-dimensional effect.

IRSKIY studied at the University of Michigan, in the US, majoring in visual communication. He has been doing some collaborations with fellow artists, with Indonesian as well as from international.
